Curriculum Assistants

We are recruiting for highly skilled Curriculum Assistants to support the delivery of our school's curriculum.

The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff to support the development of pupils' learning plans and provide high-quality support to pupils who require additional help or interventions to access the curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support teaching staff in delivering the school's curriculum and contribute to the development of pupils' learning plans
  • Provide high-quality support to pupils who require additional help or interventions to access the curriculum
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to identify and meet the needs of pupils
  • Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and update these regularly
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers about pupil progress and any concerns

Salary: £19,637 - £21,594 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. The estimated annual salary range is based on Kirklees location and is approximately £20,000 - £22,000.

Requirements:
  • Educated to GCSE grade C or equivalent in English and Maths
  • Experience of working with children and young people in an educational setting
  • Ability to build strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing circumstances
  • Passion for improving outcomes for pupils and contributing to a positive and inclusive school culture
