We are seeking a skilled Rural Machinery Engineer to join our team at Arnold Clark. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions for our rural machinery customers.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from routine maintenance to complex engine overhauls. You will be working closely with our sales and service teams to deliver exceptional customer service and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement solutions for rural machinery customers.
  • Work closely with the sales and service teams to deliver exceptional customer service and support.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure access to the latest technology and innovations.
What We Offer
  • A salary of £50,000 per annum, based on experience and training.
  • The opportunity to earn up to £11,000 every three years in performance bonuses (terms and conditions apply).
  • All overtime paid at time and a half.
  • A comprehensive benefits package, including 33 days annual leave (with room to grow) and flexible hours.
Requirements
  • Experience working in a similar role, preferably in a rural or agricultural context.
  • Strong technical knowledge of machinery and mechanics.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical information to customers and colleagues.
