Job Title: Commercial Quantity Surveyor

This is a challenging role for a Commercial Quantity Surveyor to manage the commercial aspects of decent homes schemes with a main contractor with values of £1m+. The ideal candidate will have experience of successfully managing the commercial aspects of such projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the commercial management of decent homes projects, including managing all procurement, valuation, contractual and commercial issues.
  • Formulate strategies for control of the projects and enhancement of final margins.
  • Ensure effective management of main contract and subcontract accounts through to final account.
  • Manage the production of internal management reports, including cost value reconciliations, profit plans and cash flow projections.
  • Liaise with the Client on all matters relating to the contracts and the procurement and valuation of work.
Requirements:
  • Experience of successfully managing the commercial aspects of decent homes schemes with a main contractor with values of £1m+.
  • Ability to form effective working relationships with staff and with external consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.
