We are seeking an experienced Plumber to join our team at Jobheron, a family-run business with a strong focus on business values and innovative thinking. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in installing and repairing pipes, fixtures, and appliances, as well as knowledge of building codes and regulations related to plumbing.
The ideal candidate will have a City and Guilds qualification in plumbing, but experience is just as important. If you have experience but no qualifications, we would still be interested in viewing your application.
This is a PAYE role with a competitive hourly rate and numerous benefits, including a pension scheme, company van when on site, and holidays. The working hours are 8 am-4 pm Monday through Friday, with weekend work available.
Key Responsibilities- Install and repair pipes, fixtures, and appliances in industrial settings, including labs, offices, and factories.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, using knowledge of plumbing systems and materials.
- Work with a variety of plumbing tools and equipment, including pipes, fittings, and valves.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures, including wearing personal protective equipment when necessary.
- 5 years of experience in plumbing, with a focus on industrial settings.
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations related to plumbing.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Physical strength and stamina for lifting and manoeuvring heavy objects.
