Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join our team at Kids Planet Chesterfield.

As a Deputy Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring the highest standards of care and education for our children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Nursery Manager in the overall management of the nursery, including staff supervision and development.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure the nursery meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Support the Nursery Manager in the recruitment and selection of staff, ensuring that the nursery has a skilled and motivated team.
  • Assist with the planning and delivery of training and development programs for staff.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the nursery's budget and financial plans.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualified in a UK recognised early years qualification.
  • Extensive knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
  • Leadership experience within a nursery setting.
