About the Job:
We are currently seeking a Power Electronics Specialist to join our team, working on the design and development of power electronics for Firing Units. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting circuit design, prototyping, testing, and integration/design proving of hardware needed for motor control, feedback loops, and general control system support during flight.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Electronic Design, with experience in development and delivery. You will also need to have proven ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team, with an awareness of challenges and opportunities that this may bring, along with a passion for team working and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop power electronics for Firing Units
- Support circuit design and prototyping
- Conduct testing and integration/design proving of hardware
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure products meet quality, cost, and rate targets
- Work in high integrity industries with stringent safety and security constraints
