Position Overview:

We are seeking a Lead Frontend Developer who is eager to enhance the home buying journey. You will collaborate closely with fellow frontend engineers and cross-functional teams to create a seamless and engaging user experience for Acre. Ideal candidates will be self-driven, adaptable to various technologies, and take pride in their work. Our team prioritizes user-focused product design, and you will contribute to building a distinctive and aesthetically pleasing system that stands out in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

In this pivotal role within the engineering team, you will be tasked with designing, implementing, and testing the user interface that enables consumers, brokers, and operational teams to effectively navigate the mortgage research and application process.

Your responsibilities will include writing reusable, testable, and efficient code that ensures a smooth and visually appealing user experience.

Throughout the software development lifecycle, you will engage with the entire organization, translating business needs into development tasks while also mentoring junior team members.

As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will also play a key role in promoting software engineering best practices and fostering a culture of quality within the Frontend Development team.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Deeply passionate about software engineering and committed to delivering high-quality products.
  • Skilled in creating beautiful and user-friendly interfaces that provide a delightful experience.
  • Strong proficiency in client-side JavaScript (Typescript), React, GraphQL, Apollo, as well as CSS and HTML.
  • Dedicated to employing automated testing frameworks and unit tests to produce clear, maintainable code.
  • Experienced with issue tracking, version control, continuous integration, and deployment tools.
