Stock Operations Coordinator

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stock Operative to join our team at Selfridges. As a Stock Operative, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient management of stock in our loading bay and store.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the organization and prioritization of deliveries to ensure timely receipt and processing.
- Collaborate with suppliers to resolve any issues related to returns, transfers, or other stock movements.
- Maintain accurate records of stock movements to ensure accountability and compliance.
- Ensure the loading dock and surrounding areas are kept clear and organized.
- Manage the movement of stock between various locations, including the receipt and dispatch of stock.
- Support the effective operation of forklifts and other machinery during peak periods.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders to ensure awareness of incoming deliveries and any issues that may arise.
Requirements
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple requests.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with multiple teams.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a flexible approach to shifting priorities and deadlines.
- Proactive problem-solving skills, with a focus on identifying and implementing process improvements.
- Physical ability to lift and move stock safely and securely.
