Job Title: Surface Analyst

Job Summary:
Science Solutions Recruitment is seeking a skilled Surface Analyst to join our team in the Lancashire area. As a Surface Analyst, you will be responsible for operating various analytical instruments for use on a range of materials. Surface analysis experience is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
• Operate analytical equipment on a daily basis, primarily SIMS, to analyze materials.
• Interpret and analyze results to prepare formal reports.
• Liaise with cross-functional teams and customers on a daily basis.
• Support the engineering and analysis group within the global R&D function.

Requirements:
• Degree educated in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, or a closely related subject.
• Previous hands-on experience with various surface analysis techniques, such as SEM, AFM, XPS, XRD, is essential.
• Any experience with Secondary ion mass spectrometry (SIMS) is highly desirable.
• Any data analysis experience is also highly desirable.
• Driving license and car required.
