About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Bid Manager to join our team at Caddick Construction Ltd. As a key member of our preconstruction team, you will be responsible for leading the tender process and delivering winning bids that meet our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the tender process from start to finish, ensuring timely and budget-compliant submissions.
  • Develop and implement winning bid strategies that align with our company's strategic objectives.
  • Manage client relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders throughout the bidding process.
  • Conduct market analysis and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO workflows and standards, and promote process improvements where necessary.
  • Collaborate with the business development team to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to pursue them.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the bid team, and delegate resources and tasks effectively during tender launches.
  • Participate in business development activities, including networking and social media promotion, to create new business opportunities.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and identify opportunities for the company to improve its performance.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in bid management or a related field, with a strong understanding of the construction industry.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems is desirable.
