Procurement Strategist IT

National Gas is embarking on a new operating model that will place business partnering, supplier relationships, efficiency, and value at the heart of what it does. To support this transition, we need a skilled Category Manager – IT who can set category strategy and support strategic sourcing activities.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated procurement professional to join our team and contribute to the company's success. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing category and sourcing strategies, managing assigned categories, and leading higher value sourcing projects.

We are looking for an individual with experience in strategic sourcing or procurement, including a track record of continuous improvement and delivery of results in various commercial settings. Relevant expertise in reference to the categories of spend under management is essential.

Salary: £50-60,000 per annum, 6% bonus, 6% double-matched pension, flexible benefits.
