Job Description: Reeson Education is seeking an experienced Primary School Teaching Support to work with a Year 2 pupil in a welcoming primary school in Haringey, North London. The successful candidate will provide 1:1 assistance to the pupil, supporting their emotional regulation and learning engagement. They will also work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to develop and implement strategies to meet the pupil's needs.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 support to the Year 2 pupil, focusing on their emotional regulation and learning engagement.
  • Work collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCO to develop and implement strategies to support the pupil's needs.
  • Encourage the pupil's participation in classroom activities and foster their confidence and self-esteem.
  • Maintain a calm and supportive presence, creating a positive learning environment for the pupil.

Requirements:
  • Prior experience working with children who have high emotional needs or Autism.
  • A confident and compassionate individual with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • An Enhanced DBS or willingness to process one through Reeson Education.
