Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Sales Manager to drive revenue growth with both new and existing customers across commercial and specification sales for our range of SBM products within the GCP brand.

As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers across Local Authorities, Engineers, Structural Engineers, and Architects, as well as Contractors and Key Distributors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Visiting prospective clients to provide advice and solutions to their requirements
• Maintaining regular contact with key influencers to stay up-to-date on current and future opportunities
• Building profitable and long-term relationships with clients and customers
• Preparing proposals and specifications with clients, specifiers, and main contractors
• Monitoring market activity, including prices and market share, and identifying trends

Requirements

We are looking for a practiced salesperson with a proven track-record of successful specification sales within the waterproofing or construction-related market. You should have previously worked with Architects, Engineers, and ground-workers, and ideally be CSSW qualified or have a similar qualification in engineering or construction.

As a genuine and professional individual, you will be able to communicate effectively with customers, adapt to their needs, and maintain a resilient approach in the face of adversity.
