Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 driver to join our team in Newton Abbot. As a part-time driver, you will have the opportunity to work flexible hours with the potential to pick up full-time hours during busy periods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver palletised goods using a Class 1 curtain sider
  • Ensure safe and efficient transportation of goods
  • Maintain high standards of customer service
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
  • Digital Tachograph Card and Driver Qualification Card (CPC)
  • Minimum of one year of HGV driving experience
  • ADR licence is advantageous but not mandatory

  • Competitive hourly rate: £16.81-£17.93 per hour (PAYE ADV)
  • Flexible working hours with potential for full-time hours during busy periods
  • Minimum pay guarantee: 8 hours per day
