Pension Actuarial Consultant Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pension Actuarial Consultant to join our team at Lane Clark & Peacock. As an award-winning actuarial and analytics consultancy, we specialise in providing expert advice in areas such as pensions, investments, employee benefits, insurance, health, and energy.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong and experienced Consultant to take on new challenges and responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and be fully conversant with all technical aspects of UK pensions work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical advice to clients on pensions-related matters
  • Manage a team of actuarial staff to produce client work on time and within budget
  • Develop and implement actuarial models and techniques to support client advice
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in pension legislation and regulations
  • Liaise with other client advisers, both internal and external, to ensure efficient provision of advice

Requirements

  • A strong background in actuarial science and a good understanding of UK pensions law
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Full conversance with technical aspects of UK pensions work
