About The Role:

The Crowd is working with an established and creative, multi-disciplinary design studio who are looking for a Lead Wayfinding Designer to join their growing, friendly team on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a strong team of designers and take lead across wayfinding projects.
  • Work closely with the Managing Director and assist in building and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients, working strategically on gaining new business and company growth.
  • Lead and oversee complex design projects from concept through completion, ensuring adherence to briefs, timelines, and budgets.
  • Supervise the creation and quality control of designs, drawings, and specifications across all project phases.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional content showcasing our wayfinding work.
  • Coordinate with the team and partners to produce assets for active wayfinding projects.
  • Manage multiple projects, including budget oversight, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Guide and inspire the design team, overseeing resource management and supporting recruitment.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience leading wayfinding projects across diverse sectors.
  • Advanced technical proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Skilled in juggling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Highly organised with excellent time management.
