About the Role:

LNT Construction Limited, a leading developer of purpose-built residential care homes, is seeking an experienced Town Planner to join its thriving Planning Team. Based in East Leeds, the successful candidate will have a strong background in town planning, with a proven track record of managing planning project work, preparing written reports and statements, and submitting planning application documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage planning project work, including preparation of written reports and statements, and submission of planning application documentation.
  • Meet and negotiate with Planning Officers and other stakeholders involved in the planning application process.
  • Participate in Planning Committee and Appeal situations, as required.
  • Take ownership of projects and demonstrate a keen interest in the full land and planning process.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a Planning role, either in a local authority or private sector setting.
  • A full UK driving licence.
