About the Role

This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of NIO's Simulation capability and competence improvement in NVH CAE. As an expert in NVH CAE, you will be responsible for developing 'state of the art' Computer-aided Engineering (CAE) methods and training new starters.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement CAE methods for noise, vibration, and harshness reduction.
  • Collaborate with Vehicle Engineering teams to deliver robust design solutions across all attributes.
  • Develop and optimise vehicle, body, and component level models to meet requirements.
  • Define NVH requirements and perform correlation studies with physical test data.
  • Develop process improvements to enhance analysis efficiency.
  • Assist with the development of NVH attribute targets and competitor benchmarking.
  • Prepare and present study conclusions and proposals at Global CoE level.

Requirements:

  • M.Sc. or higher education in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience in Automotive Engineering and NVH CAE at an established OEM.
  • Hands-on experience with finite element analysis software and pre- and post-processing tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrates alignment to NIO values; Honesty, Care, Vision, Action.
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality and travel to China as required.
  • Right to work in the UK.

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum depending on experience.
