We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursery Chef to join our team at Grandir UK. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and serving of healthy, nutritious meals to our children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement 6-monthly menus in consultation with catering staff, managers, and regional managers.
  • Support and guide catering staff and nursery managers to ensure high standards of food preparation and presentation.
  • Monitor kitchen standards to maintain the highest levels of practice and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Assist in the recruitment and selection of catering staff and provide training and development opportunities.
  • Audit kitchens regularly to ensure they meet required standards.
  • Verify that all kitchen paperwork is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with regulations.
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with nursery staff and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.

  • Proven experience as a nursery chef or in a similar role.
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of healthy food preparation.
