Job Opportunity for a Multi-skilled Technician
About the Role
We are partnering with a leading manufacturing company to find a skilled Multi-skilled Technician to join their team in Edinburgh.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform planned maintenance, troubleshoot breakdowns, and assist with line change-overs
- Contribute to the delivery of the engineering department's vision and strategic plan
- Monitor and maintain production efficiency to meet site KPI targets
- Identify and implement opportunities for improvements within the engineering environment
- Ensure adherence to company policies and statutory regulations for health, safety, and environment
- Collaborate with stakeholders to support capital engineering projects
- Work as a proactive team player to build credibility within the team
Requirements
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is essential
- Educated to HNC level or equivalent is required
- Knowledge of both electrical and mechanical systems is preferred
- Experience with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Predictive Maintenance (PPM), and Continuous Improvement is desirable
Working Arrangements
This is a permanent role with a continental shift pattern.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is circa £50,000.
