Job Title: Lead Data Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Data Scientist to join our team at esure Group. As a key member of our data science team, you will be responsible for leading the development of data-driven solutions to drive business growth and improve customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop a high-performing data science team to deliver value-adding projects.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration within the team.
  • Analyse complex data sets to identify trends and insights that inform business decisions.
  • Design and implement advanced data models and algorithms to drive business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data science solutions into business processes.
  • Develop and maintain data visualizations and reporting to communicate insights to stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform data science strategy.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in data science, with a strong background in machine learning and statistical modeling.
  • PhD or MSc in a relevant field, such as computer science, statistics, or mathematics.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-impact data science projects that drive business outcomes.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Experience working with large datasets and complex data systems.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
