About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Bedded Unit team at North Devon Hospice. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality, person-centered care to patients and their families, supporting them through some of the most challenging times of their lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled, evidence-based nursing care to patients, working within your scope of practice and in accordance with hospice policies and procedures.
- Assess patient needs and develop care plans that reflect their physical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual needs.
- Support patients and families to provide feedback about our services and use this to inform our continued improvement and development.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Participate in clinical supervision and reflective practice to ensure high-quality care and continuous improvement.
Person Specification
- Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Post-registration experience in end-of-life care, palliative care, or a related field.
- An understanding of palliative and end-of-life care nursing issues and patient pathways.
