Job Summary

Rapier Employment is seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 driver to support our client in Swindon on an ongoing basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport goods between various locations efficiently and in a timely manner.
  • Deliveries will be made across the South coast of England up to the Midlands.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure road worthiness and report any maintenance or mechanical issues.
  • Provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements
  • Full UK Licence (Cat C+E)
  • CPC Card
  • Digi Card
  • 12 months of Class 1 experience
  • No more than 9 points on your licence
Benefits
  • Basic hourly rate: £18.88 per hour
  • Night premium (20:00-05:00): £19.91 per hour
  • Saturday: £24.90 per hour
  • Sunday: £27.31 per hour
  • Overtime: 1.25x overtime rate after 42.5 weekly hours worked
