Waste Collection Operations Manager

At Carbon60, we are seeking a highly skilled Waste Collection Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the refuse and recycling collections teams, as well as the street cleansing service operators. Your goal will be to ensure that all services delivered by the contract operate in line with company policies, procedures, compliance, and legislation requirements, while also maintaining high customer satisfaction levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the refuse and recycling collections teams, circa 100 direct reports, in a cost-effective manner.
  • Ensure that all services delivered by the contract operate in line with company policies, procedures, compliance, and legislation requirements.
  • Manage the fleet and drivers to ensure legal compliance and reduce damage and defects.
  • Responsible for ensuring that your business unit/depot are legally and environmentally compliant at all times.
