New Product Introduction Role

Siemen Healthineers is seeking an experienced NPI Engineer to join our innovative process engineering team at Eynsham. This full-time engineering role is based in Eynsham, Oxfordshire, and offers an attractive salary.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for design for manufacture and design transfer to manufacture of products and processes for our superconducting magnets.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Influencing product design to improve DFA and optimise labour content
  • Designing manufacturing processes from concept to production ensuring parts and materials are fit for both purpose and efficient manufacture with high yield
  • Developing and implementing new processes and manufacturing equipment to enable our new product and continuous improvement agendas
  • Working closely with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) to ensure final product designs are suitable for volume manufacture
  • Implementing robust feedback mechanisms between departments, and communicating lessons learnt once products are in production

Requirements for this role include:

  • A degree in Engineering, Science, manufacturing or a related subject or equivalent experience
  • Substantial and varied technical experience in manufacturing and process engineering
  • Experience in taking the lead on NPI projects
