Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Business Development Specialist to join our team at Re:Build Manufacturing. This role involves identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities for the design, engineering, and manufacturing of skid or palletized manufacturing systems in the chemical, petrochemical, and hydrogen/clean tech industries.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients who utilize, or may utilize, palletized or skid-based processing equipment for the production of precursors, intermediates, and finished goods in chemical, petrochemical, and hydrogen/clean tech industries in North America.
  • Leverage various channels, including networking events, industry conferences, online platforms, and referrals, to generate leads and build a strong pipeline of potential clients.
  • Prepare and present compelling proposals and presentations to prospective clients, highlighting the value proposition, technical capabilities, and competitive advantages of our contract manufacturing services.
  • Collaborate with the legal team to negotiate and finalize contracts.
  • Partner closely with internal teams to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 15 years of proven experience in business development or technical sales, preferably in processing equipment and manufacturing systems for the chemical, petrochemical, and hydrogen/clean tech industries.
  • A BS degree in an engineering or technical field (electrical/ mechanical / or manufacturing engineering). Advanced technical degree and/or MBA preferred.
  • A deep understanding of industrial automation systems and manufacturing equipment and systems used in the targeted industries.
  • An established history of enhancing business growth, meeting sales goals, and finalizing complex transactions with significant capital equipment involvement deals.

Estimated salary range is $150K - $170K per year, with additional bonuses and long-term incentives available. As a valued member of our team, you will also share in the financial rewards of our company's success through ownership and profit-sharing.
