Job Title: Assistant Site Manager

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join our team at Vistry Group PLC. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for supporting the Project Manager and Site Manager in the day-to-day control of the site, management and delivery of project works.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Project Manager and Site Manager in the day-to-day control of the site, management and delivery of project works.
  • Manage and coordinate the activities of sub-contractors, including monitoring of contractor attendance and progress.
  • Ensure that all site paperwork is maintained and up-to-date, including daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
  • Participate in safety initiatives and ensure that all site personnel are aware of and comply with safety policies and procedures.
  • Manage the day-to-day delivery of construction projects, including quality, time, procurement, and contractors.
  • Collaborate with the internal/external design team/consultants to meet project deadlines.
  • Produce and regularly review short-term programs in line with the overall project program to ensure completion on time.
Requirements:
  • SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, Scaffold inspection qualification.
  • Ability to work on any project secured by the business within a reasonable locality.
  • Self-sufficient, works independently, and can deliver projects with some support from visiting Contracts Manager.
  • Hands-on, boots on site, and interacting with the trades and their supervision.
