Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Class 1 Driver to join our team at Movianto. As a key member of our transport operations, you will be responsible for delivering goods to our customers in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Company vehicles, ensuring you have the necessary licenses and authorizations.
  • Offload and reload vehicles at customer premises and the depot as required.
  • Assist warehouse personnel to ensure delivery runs are complete before loading.
  • Show flexibility in undertaking deliveries in other areas within our distribution network.
  • Carry out daily maintenance checks and ensure the cleanliness of your vehicle to present a professional image.
  • Abide by statutory and legal requirements related to drivers' hours and tachograph regulations.
  • Present tachographs and Digi-cards for analysis as requested by Depot Management or statutory inspectors.
  • Deal with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Wear safety and company uniforms as provided.
  • Be prepared to vary start times and shift patterns as required by the needs of the business.
Requirements
  • Previous multi-drop delivery operations experience.
  • Articulate, numerate, and able to communicate effectively.
  • Possession of appropriate and current licenses with no more than 6 penalty points.
  • Flexible in approach to work hours.
  • Good state of health and the physical ability to complete operational tasks.
  • Smart and personally well-presented.
  • Must hold a Class 1 (CE) license and a full UK driver's license.
  • Displays positivity and a can-do attitude.
  • Takes personal responsibility for delivering high-quality work.
  • Demonstrates honesty, credibility, and punctuality.
  • Interacts with clients in a polite and respectful manner, reacting to their needs.
  • Willingness to try new approaches and adapt to changes, providing constructive feedback.
