Transformation CFO Opportunity at PE-Backed Business

Marks Sattin Executive Search is pleased to present a challenging opportunity at a PE-backed business seeking a CFO to provide leadership in planning, negotiating, and executing restructuring plans to stabilize the business.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced finance professional with solid interpersonal skills and a track record of executional success, taking a strong lead in the transformation/turnaround process by providing a hands-on approach to cash management and divest units to bring successful results for the business.

Main responsibilities include identifying performance gaps and potential improvement opportunities, coordinating stakeholder management with the PE-firm, dealing with bank negotiations, heading up debt reconstruction strategies, and managing the full finance teams through a period of change and development.

This is a robust business with solid foundations from which the plan is to build with an aggressive Buy and Build strategy, offering a real opportunity for growth once transformed, which will bring further opportunities for longer-term value creation.

The ideal candidate:

  • Must be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA)
  • Should have a proven track record as a CFO or FD in transformation/turnaround environments
  • Should have strong experience leading mid to small-sized businesses
  • Must be a highly motivated and energetic leader with excellent communication skills
