This exciting opportunity requires a commercially astute and motivated Manager to oversee the administration of the charity. A confident individual who can effectively manage the office, maintain the accounts function, collate data, and produce reports - identify trends and analyze cause/effect. The role can be flexible to suit, with a need for some office-based work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervising sales ledger and ensuring accurate financial records.
  • Calculating overpayments and credit control to maximize receipts.
  • Reviewing unpaid debts with the team to optimize cash flow.
  • Purchase ledger/payments and processing invoices on a timely basis.
  • Managing company credit cards and petty cash expenditure.
  • Preparing payroll information for the Payroll Bureau and making monthly payments of PAYE/NI.
  • Monitoring management charges and spend against budgets.
  • Bank accounts, investments, and managing cash flow.
  • Arranging investment of surplus cash deposits in accordance with Charity policy.
  • Working with Sage Line 50 accounting software and calculating/inputting of monthly journals.
  • Dealing with ongoing contracts, e.g., Insurance, Utility agreements, mobile phones.
  • Input to strategic planning and organizing meetings and appointments.
  • Preparing and distributing minutes of meetings and helping to set up.
  • Payroll duties and reviewing and updating policy and procedures.
