Associate Wealth Manager - London

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Trainee Associate Wealth Manager. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop a career in wealth management and become a fully qualified Wealth Manager.

The Role – Trainee Associate Wealth Manager:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality support to a Senior Wealth Manager and their team, while continuing to develop their skills and knowledge in wealth management. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend client meetings with Wealth Managers
  • Manage action points from client meetings
  • Write post-approval suitability letters and business submissions
  • Carry forward, annual allowance, and lifetime allowance calculations
  • Client financial review input/updating
  • Manage pipeline for Senior Wealth Manager
  • Analytics using FE Analytics and preparation of detailed Voyant reports
  • Drawdown review letters and fund switch letters
  • Respond to client inquiries (technical and administrative)
  • Identify opportunities and referrals from existing clients
  • Managing workflow through Asana software and Business Trackers
  • Facilitation of defined benefit transfers
  • Preparation of illustrations and electronic business submissions using the Blue-door software
  • Critical yield calculations
  • Manage outsourced letter of authority process

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in wealth management or regulated financial services
  • Candidates with SJP related experience would be of particular interest
  • At least 2 CII RO exams
  • High level of attention to detail & excellent organization skills
  • High standard of written & verbal communication skills
  • Highly IT literate, including advanced MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills
  • Keeps calm when faced with conflicting demands and handles these effectively
  • Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating a professional, proactive, and positive attitude
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as working on shared goals as part of a team
  • Manages time effectively with the ability to multi-task
