Culinary Expert

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced chef to join our team at RAF Brize Norton in Carterton. As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our armed forces personnel.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with the running of the service, preparation, and other duties in the busy working kitchen
• Ensure strict adherence to all EHO guidelines and systems
• Work closely with the FOH team to drive service excellence
• Monitor sanitation practices to ensure employees follow standards and regulations
• Prepare, produce, and present food to the highest standard

Requirements:

• NVQ level 2/3 or equivalent experience in a busy kitchen environment
• Basic IT skills
• Experience in menu production and confident input
• Exposure to bulk cooking
• The enthusiasm to develop and learn new skills

What We Offer:

• A competitive salary of £12.73 per hour, which reflects the importance of this role
• A guaranteed 37.5 hours per week, working 5 out of 7 days (shifts between 5am and 1am)
