The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of mechanical components and assemblies to ensure they meet defined standards and specifications.

This role involves meticulously examining mechanical parts for defects, verifying dimensions and tolerances, and conducting tests to assess product performance and durability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct inspections of mechanical components and assemblies to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Maintain detailed records of inspections and collaborate with engineering and production teams to address quality issues.
  • Verify dimensions and tolerances of mechanical parts and conduct tests to assess product performance and durability.
  • Ensure inspection times are met and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address quality issues and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Formal technical engineering/craft apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21 is essential for this role.
  • Proven planning and organising skills and be flexible and adaptable.
