Senior Documentalist Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Documentalist to join our team at the Gemini 3 Group. As a Senior Documentalist, you will play a critical role in supporting a valued Department of Defense (DoD) customer. This position is contingent upon contract award.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical writing, with excellent writing skills, including understanding of grammatical rules, punctuation, sentence structure, and active/passive voice. You will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and composing technical information, ensuring the use of proper technical terminology, and translating technical information into clear, readable documents.

Salary: $95,000 - $120,000 per year

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather, analyze, and compose technical information.
  • Ensure the use of proper technical terminology.
  • Translate technical information into clear, readable documents to be used by technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Edit functional descriptions, systems specifications, user's manuals, deliverables, and documents.
  • Review documentation for accuracy of grammar and punctuation and perform quality control to ensure consistency of writing style.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in English with an emphasis on technical or professional writing. Military experience acceptable in lieu of education.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in technical writing.
  • Active Secret Clearance.
