Housekeeping Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at The Bamburgh Castle Inn, a gold award-winning pub in Northumberland.

About the Role

As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring our rooms and public areas are presented to the highest standards. You will work closely with our Housekeeping team to maintain a clean and welcoming environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain rooms to our high standards
  • Ensure all public areas are presented in their best light
  • Report any maintenance issues to maintain our standards
  • Follow guidelines to ensure everyone's safety
  • Work as part of the wider team to create memorable visits
  • Manage your stocks of linen, towels, and room supplies

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be:

  • Friendly and have a good eye for detail
  • Able to remain calm under pressure
  • React to guest requests to exceed expectations
  • Work as part of the Housekeeping team
  • Be able to work mornings through to mid-afternoon shifts as standard
  • Be punctual, well turned out, and conscientious
