About the Role:
JRL Group Ltd is seeking a skilled Setting Out Engineer to join our team on a new project in Southampton City Centre.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set out and level the site using Topcon (EDM) equipment.
- Perform site calibration checks and resolve any technical difficulties that may arise.
- Carry out quality inspections and record results.
- Utilize digital platforms such as Fieldview and Viewpoint for project coordination.
- Conduct as-built surveys and produce and assess as-built files.
- Support the construction team with temporary works coordination.
- Lead the engineering team and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Oversee document control aspects as required.
Requirements:
- Civil Engineering or Construction-related degree qualification.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar setting out role.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Valid CSCS card.
- Proven experience working on sub and superstructures packages, particularly concrete/RC frame structures and basements.
