We are seeking a skilled Overhead Crane Engineer to join our team at Kemp Recruitment. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the routine maintenance, servicing, and repair of overhead cranes.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure hire equipment is maintained to a high standard, conducting Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) work and promptly attending customer sites to address breakdowns.
- Adhere to LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations) and LEEA (Lifting Equipment Engineers Association) standards to ensure compliance and safety.
- Diagnose and repair overhead cranes effectively, utilizing essential electrical knowledge.
- Work effectively in a team to deliver excellent service and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Previous experience in a similar role involving cranes, powered access, plant machinery, or material handling equipment.
- Essential electrical knowledge and a LEEA qualification demonstrating proficiency in lifting equipment inspection and maintenance.
- CSCS Card to access construction sites safely.
- A passion for delivering excellent service and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- NVQ qualification or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Full UK driver's license with a willingness to travel to customer sites.
- A competitive salary in the range of £34,000 per annum.
