About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Orthoptist to join our team at Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As an Orthoptist, you will play a crucial role in the diagnosis and management of adult ocular motility disorders.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage new and follow-up cases of adult ocular motility disorders
- Work closely with consultant ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
- Develop and implement clinical practice guidelines to improve patient outcomes
- Contribute to the development of new services and initiatives to improve patient care
Person Specification
- Orthoptic Degree
- Health Care Professions Council registration
- Evidence of recent professional development
- Postgraduate clinical teaching qualification or equivalent
- Broad range of experience in specialist Orthoptic areas
- Assertive and able to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues
