Job Title: Technical Leadership Role - Property Development

About the Company:

Our client, a reputable property developer based in North London, is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Manager to join their team. With a focus on delivering high-quality, affordable residential properties across Greater London and the South East, they prioritise energy efficiency and sustainable building practices.

Salary:

Up to £95,000 per annum, with a 10% annual bonus, car allowance of £7,250, and non-contractual bonuses up to 15%.

Job Description:

  • Team Management: Effectively manage internal and external teams to ensure timely and budget-friendly delivery of construction packages.
  • Building Control and Warranty: Proactively address Building Control and warranty condition discharge processes for smooth plot completions.
  • Scheme Design: Ensure schemes adhere to company standards, Construction Design Guides, and specifications, driving design consistency across projects.
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in QA inspections on site, ensuring compliance with approved details and benchmarking procedures.
  • Staff Development: Lead, motivate, and develop staff to achieve best performance and meet company needs.
  • Budget Management: Manage technical fee budgets, invoicing, and reporting diligently in line with company policies.
  • Quality and Standards: Establish and enforce quality and standards in schemes, maintaining a good company image.
  • Legislation and Innovation: Demonstrate awareness of future legislation, changing standards, and construction product innovations.
  • Company Responsibilities: Comply with responsibilities as defined in the Companies Technical Department Manual, ensuring compliance throughout your team.
  • Collaboration: Establish good working relationships with site staff and departments, encouraging feedback for future scheme improvements.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Develop working relationships with Building Control, Warranty providers, Housing Associations, and JV Partners.
