Job Introduction

We are seeking a skilled Multi-Skilled Operative to join our C&H Readymix 'RMX' team based at our Costessey site. This role involves working on the day-to-day operations of our fixed and mobile plant, ensuring stocks are maintained and replenished in good time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operating both mobile and fixed plant on site
  • Working with the team to ensure customers receive good quality material and on-time deliveries
  • Assisting the Supervisor with meeting daily/weekly production targets
  • Following SHE policies and procedures
  • Ensuring plant conforms with safety requirements at all times
  • Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality responsibilities
  • Inspecting plant and acting on defects and implementing remedial action
  • Maximising plant availability
  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping around site

Requirements

  • Proven experience working as a Multi-Skilled Operative in a Plant/Cement/Readymix environment
  • Good communication skills and a desire to develop both operative and supervisory skills
  • Loading Shovel License – minimum 7.5 meter license
  • Good timekeeping and flexibility to meet site requirements
  • Full UK manual car driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
  • IT Literate
