Sales and Events Manager

At Searcys, we're seeking an experienced Senior Event Sales Executive to manage and convert sales enquiries and opportunities for our Horizon 22 venue. This role is critical in working towards our monthly and quarterly annual budget, profitability targets, and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Converting venue enquiries and sales opportunities of the Sales & Events Department.
- Generating and contributing sales to achieve venues' Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual budget, profitability targets, and deadlines.
- Maximising all revenue opportunities for both The Royal College of Surgeons and Searcys.
- Co-ordinating commercial and internal events within the venue.
- Delivering exceptional customer service and innovation to clients, supported by detailed event sheets.
- Managing and increasing conversion of venue sales enquiries and all revenue potential opportunities.
- Supporting client account development and leading key projects through the seasonal calendar.
- Ensuring correct allocation of rooms/suites and corresponding deadlines within agreed timeframes.
- Creating, completing, and owning all Banqueting Event Orders (BEO's) – detailing all event requirements from start to finish.
- Communicating effectively with all relevant departments to ensure successful event delivery.
- 2 years of experience within a similar role.
- Meticulous administration and prioritisation skills.
- Excellent communication skills (internally and externally).
- Proactive and excellent time management.
- English Language – fluent or bilingual proficiency.
