Job Overview

MCG Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Asthma Nurse to join our team in Central Oxford. As a key member of our practice team, you will provide evidence-based nursing care to support patients with asthma and chronic diseases.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage asthma care and chronic disease patients, providing health assessments and regular reviews.
  • Perform minor illness care, wound care, and general nursing duties, including injections and cervical screening.
  • Prescribe medication and offer advice on its use, while maintaining accurate records and following clinical guidelines.
  • Work closely with GPs, healthcare professionals, and external services to support patients with medication management and chronic conditions.

Requirements:

  • Experience in asthma care and chronic disease management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Competitive hourly rate, £22-£25, depending on experience.
