About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Support Assistant to join our Professional Learning Services team at NSPCC. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support to the Director of Professional Learning Services and the Senior Leadership Team, ensuring the smooth operation of our business functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional administrative support to the Director and Senior Leadership Team, including conference bookings, distribution lists, recruitment, inductions, minute taking, travel and accommodation bookings, and diary management.
  • Develop a deep understanding of NSPCC processes and procedures, proactively sharing information and best practices with the team.
  • Oversee the department's induction process, maintain the team's organigram, and ensure content is up-to-date on the intranet.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Assistant to provide an effective and efficient support service to the wider directorate and Senior Leadership Team.
Requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to deal with internal and external stakeholders and colleagues.
  • Excellent written communication skills and the ability to understand, interpret, and present complex information in a clear and accurate way for a range of audiences.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to anticipate needs and forward plan accordingly.
  • Ability to work with others as part of a team, providing support as required, and building and maintaining effective working relationships.
  • Experience of business administration activities such as invoicing, minute taking, planning calendars.
  • Discretion and the ability to deal with confidential information sensitively and appropriately.
