About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Consultant to join our team in the Aerospace, Defence, Security and Technology (ADS&T) business unit. As a Safety Consultant, you will play a vital role in shaping our projects and providing technical analysis of designs and processes.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical analysis of safety and engineering risks for land systems
  • Develop and implement strategies to solve complex problems
  • Lead key presentations and work closely with clients
  • Deliver safety management plans, hazard logs, and safety case reports
  • Interrogate data systems to assess currency, integrity, and associated risks

Requirements
  • Working knowledge of safety regulations, including Defence Safety Authority suite
  • Knowledge and understanding of legislation (UK and EU) and its application to land systems
  • Working knowledge of safety standards, such as Defence Standard
  • Proven record of managing safety and safety artefacts
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge and awareness of other Defence safety disciplines
  • Professionally registered at IEng or working towards it
