We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Endocrinology & Diabetes and Acute Medicine to join our team at Triple West Medical. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the development of our Diabetes and Endocrinology Service.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the day-to-day management of the Diabetes and Endocrinology Service, ensuring the highest clinical standards in the management of General Medicine, Diabetes, and Endocrinology.
- Develop and implement strategies to remodel our type 1 service, focusing on provision for young adults and leveraging our expertise in diabetes technologies.
- Collaborate with our paediatric colleagues to enhance our transition service, ensuring seamless care for patients.
- Take on the medical leadership of the inpatient diabetes team, building on existing excellence and streamlining surgical pathways.
- Provide teaching and mentorship to doctors in training, developing their skills and knowledge in Endocrinology and Diabetes.
- Contribute to the clinical supervision and educational supervision of doctors in training, providing supportive formal appraisals and career guidance.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- 10 PA's per week, with flexibility to negotiate additional support.
