Senior User Experience Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior User Experience Designer to join our eTeam team in Northampton. As a key member of our UXUI team, you will be responsible for crafting first-class online experiences for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement customer-centric design solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Ensure all design outputs adhere to relevant policies and standards.
  • Collaborate with the Experience Design team to introduce new strategies and initiatives.
  • Identify and implement process improvements within the team.

Stakeholder Management and Leadership:

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to influence project direction.
  • Communicate effectively with design and development teams, business analysts, and senior stakeholders.
  • Undertake line management responsibilities for junior team members.

UI Design Skills:

  • Execute the UCD process, including personas, user journeys, sketches, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
  • Be a conceptual thinker and inspire colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in popular UI software such as Axure RP Pro, Bohemian Sketch, and Adobe XD.
  • Lead workshops, presentations, and walkthrough sessions to explore business requirements and promote shared understanding.

Essential Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a UI/UX Design role.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Academic background or professional qualification in a related field.
  • Demonstrable experience designing for web and mobile, and for complex systems across multiple channels.
  • Solid understanding of core digital technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Android, and iOS.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience working in the financial sector.
  • Understanding of accessibility best-practice for digital products and services.
