Inventory Control Specialist

Job Title: PI Checker
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized PI Checker to join our team at Culina Group. As a PI Checker, you will be responsible for conducting daily perpetual inventory checks, investigating stock discrepancies, and ensuring accurate reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily perpetual inventory checks of all pick faces and report any discrepancies.
- Perform high bay VNA perpetual inventory checks and investigate any stock discrepancies.
- Conduct scissor lift perpetual inventory checks and report any findings.
- Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, including missing pallets.
- Marshall Lane spot checks for case pick, pallet presentation, and labeling accuracy.
- Prepare and submit daily reports to management on pick errors and their calculated cost implications.
- Investigate claims from overs/shorts to end customers.
- Process and control damages, ensuring accurate damage reporting.
- Conduct daily 'walkaround' of the warehouse to identify spurious stock.
Requirements:
- Previous stock control experience is preferred.
- Ability to analyze and act on data.
- Flexibility to cover all areas of the stock department functionality.
- Able to demonstrate a high level of detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage own time to achieve daily targets efficiently and effectively.
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Excellent investigative and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility in approach to work and shift patterns.
- PC literate in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to work at height.
