Job Title: Process Operator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Operator to join our team at Hudson Shribman. As a Process Operator, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process of our chemical plant facility, ensuring the quality, efficiency, and safety of the manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and Control: Monitor the condition of the process and take corrective action as necessary to ensure optimal performance.
  • Data Management: Log and archive data related to the production process, including stock management and quality control.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Lab Department to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Inventory Management: Supervise the stock management of sufficient resources to deliver planned activity.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that personal protective clothing is worn at all times and report any problems to the relevant manager/department immediately.
  • Customer Service: Positively represent the company to our customers and suppliers.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all contractual employment obligations, ISO standards, and health and safety requirements.

Working Hours: As this is a 24/7 site, you will be required to work on a 4 On, 4 Off shift pattern, including shifts covering nights and weekends and bank holidays.

Requirements:

  • Previous Experience: Previous chemical process experience or similar is an advantage.
  • Attention to Detail: Good attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Technical Skills: Good working knowledge of MS office applications.
