About the Role

We are seeking a skilled RCM Engineer to join our Product Support Engineering Department at Boeing Defence UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for applying RCM methodologies and techniques to facilitate and implement reliability improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct RCM analysis within defined scope, ensuring quality and adherence to timelines.
  • Review and process change requests stemming from maintenance feedback, failure investigations, and reliability studies.
  • Ensure proposed changes meet agreed standards and customer requirements.
  • Provide management reporting on progress through KPIs and close-out reports.
  • Implement and update defined RCM tasks in relevant tools to enhance reliability foundations.

Preferred Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

  • Must be eligible to obtain UK SC security clearance.
  • Engineering background with strong maintenance/engineering experience.
  • Knowledge and application experience of RCM-2 or FMEA principles, practices, and applications, and/or MSG-3 methodology.
  • Defence background preferred but not essential.
  • Proficiency in risk and reliability management systems and techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive first-time quality improvements.
  • Understanding of Risk & Opportunity Management principles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Word, and Adobe Acrobat XI Pro.
  • Ideally educated to degree level in an Engineering or related subject with 2 to 5 years of experience, or equivalent formal training in Support Engineering principles.
