Job Title: Senior/Principal Hydraulic Modeller

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior or Principal Hydraulic Modeller to join our Networks and Drainage Solutions team in Sheffield. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering hydraulic modelling projects to our clients in the water industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of hydraulic models for sewer networks, storm water management, and sustainable drainage systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and to budget.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of our hydraulic modelling team.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in hydraulic modelling, with a strong understanding of sewer network and storm water management principles.
  • Excellent technical skills, with the ability to work with a range of software tools, including hydraulic modelling software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead and manage a team, with a focus on developing and mentoring junior team members.
